Commissioned by the official tourist board of Prague, "What to do in Prague" was produced in 2016 by director and cameraman Jiri Petr.
"What to do in Prague" is a sensitive portrait of the capital of the Czech Republic. Prague, the ancient capital of Bohemia, has for many decades been one of the most diverse European cities. Jiri Petr takes the viewer on an emotional journey through his hometown, offering us a slightly different view of the metropolis.
Not for nothing is Prague called by the locals "mother of all cities". Walking through the historic city center with all its Gothic, Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings is better than any history lesson. But there is more to Prague than its past. Having lived through communism and the Velvet Revolution, it is now firmly re-establishing itself as a major European cultural metropolis.
